About Kanto Kingdom

Kanto Kingdom was created with a goal of making legitimate Japanese collectibles more readily available to the US market, while also allowing me, Cameron, to further enjoy the hobby throughout the process. Pokémon came out in the US when I when I was five years old, and the newest episode every Saturday morning became the thing I looked forward to most. Even though I only collected the cards for the first few years, my love for the video games never went away. It started off with Pokémon Snap and Pokémon Stadium, but the handheld games quickly became a favorite.  I stopped collecting and watching any of the shows around the end of the WOTC era, but I would still binge play every new Pokémon version when it came out throughout the years. This was until 2020, when many people like me rekindled their interest in collectible items. The boom of value in TCGs, led me to open a few packs one day just for the fun of it. To my surprise, I could not stop myself from opening the packs and just like that I was hooked all over again. Throughout my early time getting back into the hobby, I discovered that I preferred the Japanese cards and exclusive artworks. I also found that Japanese products were somewhat difficult to find, there were a lot of scams, and most of the Japanese product I could find in the US was way overpriced. This was what pushed me from being just a collector to now seller as well. Kanto Kingdom aims combat this by allowing the community to buy the products they want with confidence.
